Open Thread 3: What Are You Watching This Week?

I’ll go first:

Are You Human Too:  This show gave me so many feels.  I loved every moment…that had Seo Kang Joon in it.  Seriously, this man could stand in a corner blinking and I would watch.  For our play-by-play thoughts on the final episode, be sure to check out our Live Twitter Recap.

Reply 1997/Answer Me 1997: I started this show last year, and then dropped it when the cancer trope (my least favorite) appeared.  But I’m so glad that I came back to it.  This drama and its close-up look at day-to-day life in the 90’s is like a warm hug from a friend.  I love that it isn’t afraid to share personal, normal moments between its characters, like when Jung Eun Ji accidently hands Seo In Guk the menstral pad out of her purse or when a game of “Go Stop” between her parents becomes a vicious competition.  The characters themselves are like real people I might know, or wish that I could know.  At the end of this show I will be so sad to leave the happy little family in Busan.
