Streaming News:
“Touch Your Heart” is ending this week and I am devastated. Our adorable Goblin couple could wash dishes and take out their garbage and I would still be happy watching. This is one drama I am not ready to let go. How about you? What did you think of “Touch Your Heart?”
“My Lawyer, Mr. Jo 2” will also be bowing out this week after its very tumultuous run. This drama has had almost every imaginable issue from the lead actor receiving emergency surgery, to two actors suddenly being cut mid-season, to finally the serious injury of 5 staff members in an accident. I think everyone will breathe easier once this drama is finished.
Lastly “Legal High” is leaving on its own high. For a cable drama, it did well. Last week’s viewership rating was a solid 2.4% & 2.0%. Was anyone watching? What did you think of “Legal High?”
I’m really pumped for the new dramas starting this week. First is “Welcome to Waikiki 2” the story about six bumbling, wacky youths living in the Waikiki house. This drama has a lot to live up to since the original was voted the funniest KDrama of all time, but since both the original director and writer are returning I’m hopeful they will recapture the magic.
The second drama starting this week is “The Banker” starring Kim Sang Joong(Bad Guys) and tells the heroic tale of a branch bank manager who stands up to corruption at headquarters. Okay, I’ll admit it. I’m watching this for Kim Sang Joong. Have you seen this man in a suit?
