KDrama Fashion for Less: Hotel Del Luna
A lot of us watched Hotel del Luna recently, enraptured by the story and stunning visuals. But if you’re like me, you were also taken by IU’s incredible styling and fashion in the show, but as usual with the knowledge that she’s wearing the best that designer fashion has to offer, and we just don’t have that sort of money!
Thus, Hotel Del Luna Style- but on a budget!

One of our first introductions to Mang Wol in the modern era was when she showed up with a gun and a stunning purple high necked dress and black hat looking like an absolute badass.
For my interpretation I found this slightly more practical purple dress, gemstone stud earrings, a pair of biker boots, a felt sun hat, a gun-shaped ring, as well as (of course) some beautiful nail art stickers and a flattering lip color to tie the look together.
For this word appropriate yet fashion-forward look I focused on her love of pearl accessories, joining a blue tweed blazer with a high necked lace blouse, a high waisted pencil skirt, and pearl earrings, belt, choker and adorable heels with a slight pearl accent as well.
For the final look, I decided to focus less on authenticity and more on capturing her entire attitude in a look. I went with a floor-length burgundy dress, some insanely sparkly heels, moon earrings, a moon hair clip, a beautiful gold waist belt, some deep red nail polish and red gems to go along with it.
