Note: In an interview on December 31, 2019, for SBS Entertainment News, head writer Kang Eun Kyung discussed how this season will be different from the first one. “There is not a big difference between them. The setting is the same and we will still see various crises at Doldam Hospital and, amidst these, we will face questions about the choices we make…However, Dr. Kim’s way of dealing with his students will likely be a little different. The first season was about his meeting, breaking, and then growing up with his students, but in this season he asks his students to answer him differently. Now we will see a teacher who encourages his students to find the answers that best suit their lives and to see how valuable and beautiful they are.” [source, translation DramaCurrent.com]
