Serious K-Drama fans all know, the funniest moments aren’t always the ones that are scripted.  Sometimes what happens off camera or when the scenes don’t go as planned turn out to be our favorites.  This summer’s dramas were lots of fun, but we think you might just enjoy these behind-the-scenes clips even more.  Here are our favorite Kdrama BTS videos from Summer 2018.

What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?

Park Seo Joon really had fun when filming for his character in “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim.”  His adlibs from episode 10 are more hilarious than his actual lines!  Bonus: BTS on the cameo by Lee Min Ki and Jung So Min.

Lawless Lawyer

Lawless Lawyer had so many great behind-the-scenes clips, we simply couldn’t narrow it down to one.  First up, Lee Joon Gi is the master of off-screen comedy.  These BTS clips from episodes 11-12 are our favorite because of JG’s hilarious attempt at being cool and he and Seo Ye Ji’s fight-scene fails.  (Note: Be sure to turn on your captions so you don’t miss anything.)

Next up, these BTS clips from episode 15 were too fun not to include.  After weeks of filming together, the cast have built comfortable friendships with eachother…and it’s hilarious.  Seo Ye Ji can’t stop laughing at her co-stars adlibs, while Lee Joon Gi and Choi Min Soo are like two kids playing.  Plus, don’t miss the the fight-scene turned dance off.  (Note: Be sure to turn on your captions so you don’t miss anything.)

Come and Hug Me

The relationship between Jang Ki Yong and Jin Ki Joo may have been cute on screen, but it had nothing on their real-life version.  In this clip from behind-the-scenes on the famous kiss scene, they are so awkward they can’t keep from making eachother laugh.  Adorable. Secret Mother

Poor Kim Tae Woo can’t catch a break in these behind-the-scenes clips from “Secret Mother.”  The director keeps asking for a retake on his slap scenes, and although Song Yoon Ah obviously feels terrible about it, she keeps the slaps coming.  After numerous takes poor Kim Tae Woo pleads “Why??? It hurts!!”

Mr. Sunshine

We want to watch Yoo Yeon Sook’s bouncy dance in these BTS scenes all day long.  Also, he is so gentlemanly holding Kim Tae Ri’s skirt off the floor while they practice scripts together or when teaching her how to use her sword.  What a sweet sunbae.

Greasy Melo

Greasy Melo may have made cooking look easy, but these BTS clips prove it wasn’t always that way in real-life.  Lee Jun Ho and Jung Ryeo Won can’t get anything to work correctly for them in these BTS clips.  Bonus: a surprise visit from Junho’s real-life best friend Nam Goong Min.

Thirty But Seventeen

Are You Human Too?

During these behind-the-scenes moments we a backstage look at how Seo Kang Joon pulled off playing two seperate roles in the same scenes.  Fascinating.
