Im Si Wan cast in first drama after military

Im Si Wan Military Service Enlistment Release Date

Yay! The beautiful Im Si Wan(The King in Love) is coming home! We have missed this guy.

But to add to our joy, he has already signed on for his comeback drama: OCN’s “Strangers from Hell.” The drama is based on a popular webtoon thriller about the bizarre incidents that befall a country-bumpkin who moves into the big city of Seoul.

Shin Se Kyung considering role in female-centered sageuk

Shin Se Kyung(Black Knight) may finally be returning to dramaland! She is currently in talks for new drama “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung” about female historians during the early 1800’s and the struggles they faced as women.

“Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung” is scheduled to air in July on MBC.

Park Min Young & Kim Jae Wook confirm for drama with “Dear My Friends” director

You can’t see it, but we are dancing for joy! Park Min Young(What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?) has confirmed her next drama! The queen of chemistry will be pairing up with our favorite McHottie Kim Jae Wook(The Guest) in “Her Private Life.”

“Her Private Life” is the quirky story of the gallery curator & intense Kpop fangirl who has given up on real-life dating to secretly manage her fansite & the dashing gallery director who discovers her secret.

“Her Private Life” will premiere on tvN on April 03, 2019.

Son Ji Hyun joins “When the Devil Calls Your Name”

“When the Devil Calls Your Name” has found its leading lady. Son Ji Hyun(Grand Prince) will be staring opposite Jung Kyung Ho(Life on Mars) in this new occult drama about a top star who has sold his soul for fame only to realize his success was stolen from a young woman. Then before his contract with the devil runs out, he must repair the damage caused by his selfishness.

“When the Devil Calls Your Name” will air later this year on tvN.

“Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food” PD, Writer, & Lead Couple reunite in new drama

Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food Spring night

Wow. Apparently, someone important was a big “Pretty Noona” fan, because we are getting the whole crew back together! Lead couple Han Ji Min(The Light In Your Eyes) and Jung Hae In(Prison Playbook) will be reuniting as the main couple in new drama “Spring Night,” along with the original writer and PD. These leads have some of the most intense chemistry we’ve ever seen in Kdramaland, so we’re getting goosebumps just dreaming about this pairing.

“Spring Night” tells the story of a couple in their 30’s who look back on their relationship as they consider marriage. The drama will air on MBC in May.

Park Hae Jin considers comeback drama with Jo Bo Ah

Well, it looks like Park Hae Jin(Man to Man) may recover from the “Four Men” mess after all. The top star is currently considering a role in “Secret” alongside Jo Bo Ah(My Strange Hero). “Secret” is a rom-com about a male emergency air rescue worker who dreams of being wealthy and a female doctor from a leading university who enter the Miryung Forest, a place where people with heartache gather.

“Secret” will be pre-produced and does not currently have an air date.

Shinhwa’s Eric considers first role since wedding

Of all the news this week, this has us the most excited. It has been WAY too long since Eric(Another Oh Hae Young) and his magical kisses was on our drama screen!

In his first role since getting married almost two years ago, Eric is considering “Perfume” with Go Jun Hee. “Perfume” is a fantasy romance about an ill-tempered man with 52 phobias and a housewife who discovers a magical perfume which restores her youth.

“Perfume” is slated to start in June on KBS.

Wanna One’s Park Ji Hoon in talks for fusion saguek

Everyone’s favorite Wink Boy Park Ji Hoon is in talks to make his grand return to dramaland! (Trivia: Park Ji Hoon was a child actor.) The Wanna One idol has been offered the lead role in  “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency,” a historical drama about a king who hires a dating ageny to protect his lover.

The production company promises this will be a unique fusion drama with a slew of handsome actors. (Anyone else getting “Hwarang” déjà vu?)

“Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency” is scheduled to air in May on JTBC.
