What You Said: Which KDramas Does Everyone NEED to See At Least Once?
There are certain Korean Dramas that are more rite of passage than TV viewing. Your friends talk about them constantly; You hear references to them in other dramas; Their best scenes have been parodied on variety shows and KPop music videos. Simply, you HAVE to watch these dramas…at least once.
Of course, everyone’s list of “must watch” dramas will be different, so we wanted to know which dramas you thought were the most important. This month we asked our Twitter followers which Korean Dramas everyone should see at least once. Some of your answers really surprised us.
Read until the end for a complete list of the Top 10
Weightlifting Fairy. It was refreshing to see a couple that were in the same class and not the same old “rich guy saving the poor girl.”

I’m a broken record but Healer will always be my answer. It has something for everyone; action, mystery and romance. All the feels. pic.twitter.com/a81FoxMP2W

My must watch list would be #MrSunshine, #Pinocchio, and #TheCrownedClown, and #Goblin. My list is a little biased because they happen to be my favorites as well.

I think Chicago Typewriter is a must watch drama that doesn’t fall on most people’s radar. The story and sets are beautiful and the insight into that specific period in Korean history is really interesting. pic.twitter.com/XhnJZXrEAn

I’d love to read a list of ‘oldies but goodies’…and the ones that started the Hallilu Wave back then…the classics that have been put on the shelf, but still pull you in today. “Thank You” which was mentioned in your twitter ‘Must-See” dramas is one of them. Of course “Secret Garden” and then even “Giant” a great epic about Korea post-war as it brought it’s economy onto the world stage. Great cast. Kill Me Heal Me, Healer, That Winter the Wind Blows, “All In”, “Hotel”. All classics. I’ll stop myself here…the list is too long!
