Defendant trio reunites in Thoracic Surgery

Thoracic Surgery was announced a while ago, but has sadly languished among the piles of orphan dramas (ah, the stationless misfits.)  However, today that changed as it was announced that both the PD and writer from Defendant will be joining the team.  Also joining is actor Eom Ki Joon, also from Defendant.  (Ah, I loved that drama.  If only they can work their magic again.  Please be good, please be good.)

Not many details have been revealed yet, but we do know that Thoracic Surgery is about a thoracic surgeon (I’m so surprised. sarcastic eyeroll) who is trying to rescue his mother who is in need of a heart transplant.  However, a professor of surgery (played by Eom Ki Joon) stands in his way. (Agh, they are going to make Eom Ki Joon’s character be all serious and fierce aren’t they?  But I love it when he’s the bumbling puppy – flashes back to “I Can Hear Your Voice.”)  [source]
