Memories of the Alhambra Alternate Ending: “Mrs.”

Final Episode:

After killing all the bugs at the church, Yoo Jin-Woo (Hyun-Bin) breaks down on one of the seats.  While he waits for Emma to appear, the phone rings and it is from Agent A. He informs Jin Woo that professor Cha has secretly done the autopsy on Cha Hyung-Seok and his death was concluded as natural caused by sudden death. He sends the report to Jin Woo.

Jin Woo calls his lawyer to meet him at the airport.  He tells the lawyer to contact the police and stop the chase and that he is going to Granada to finish his last quest. He asks the lawyer to keep a secret until he returns.

After that Jin Woo goes to Granada to kill off bug Marco, and he then submits himself to Emma to kill the bug Zinu. Jin Woo almost passes out after the stabbing, but Agent A finds him and helps him back to the hostel Bonita.

A week later, Jin Woo replies to CEO Park’s email telling him that he is alive and asks him to keep a secret of his whereabouts until he sorts out his physical and emotional mess. He tells CEO Park to look after Jung Hee Joo and encourage her to spend more quality time with her family, especially her long lost brother instead of looking for Jin Woo.  He also tells Park to talk Hee Joo into finding a young, six-pack guy to date and get more dating experiences.

The Flashback:

Min Joo is getting ready for school in her room, she opens her wardrobe and looks inside and pulls out a beautiful dress. She holds it up and flashes back…. She is just about to walk home from school and has received the text from Jin Woo. She runs like a flash of light and meets him at a shopping arcade. He takes her to a luxury department store, and Min-Joo goes nut with the shopping spree. They then go for lunch. While eating, Min Joo coaches Jin Woo on how to date her big sister. They eat and laugh and have a great time playing games before parting.

Future:

A year later, after all the shitty launches of the new game and all other meaningless screen times, ex-CEO Park in his hideous tracksuit comes and sees Hee Joo. He gives her a piece of paper and tells her she should go to Granada if she still has feelings for Jin Woo. She tells Park that she wants to find him. She tells him, “I want to find the stupid idiot and beat the crap out of him for not keeping his promises and for making me wait this long”.

Granada:

Bonita hostel is now beautifully renovated with luxury decors and an elevator to level 6. Room 601 has become a luxury master bedroom with an Ensuite just as Jin Woo would have liked.

Dining scene:

Jin Woo is sitting at the dining table having dinner when the doorbell rings. He opens the door, and as he looks out, Hee Joo stands right in front of him. At first, he tries his flirty smiles at Hee Joo, but she does not respond. Instead, she walks toward him and slaps hard on his face and yells at him, “you are a son of the b****! Why did you do this to me? Don’t try to flirt with me. You are in big trouble now, old man! I am here to beat the s*** out of you for leaving me like that,”….and she throws punches onto his chest.

Jin Woo grabs both of her hands and pulls her towards him and hugs her tightly as he whispers in her ear, “I missed you a lot. I thought you were never going to find me.” Then he slowly moves his face to hers and slowly kisses her, and they both move backwards into the house. The door shuts, and they get into the elevator and ride, still kissing, all the way to level 6 and into the bedroom…CUT (use your imagination…)

The morning after Hee Joo wakes up and looks around. She doesn’t see Jin Woo and is about to swear when she sees a gift box with a sticky note on top. It says, “I am off to work. Come up to the hilltop at 5.” She smiles and opens the box. It is a floral dress (the one she wore for the poster shoot).

At the Alcazabar café, Jin Woo and Agent A are the co-owners of the cafe. The café is very busy — with mainly women customers just there to drool over Agent A. Jin Woo is behind the counter taking orders, and Agent A is serving customers. He walks around in a black uniform – including a short-sleeve T-shirt to show off his masculine biceps and abs – and the women drool over him whenever he walks past their tables. Jin Woo tells Agent A that he is leaving early to have the date of his life.

At the hilltop: a beautiful dinner table set up with flowers, candles, and wine.

Jin Woo is standing and admiring the scenery of the Alhambra palace when Hee Joo walks up and stands opposite him. He turns around with a red rose in his hand, smiles at her, and says “you came.” He slowly walks towards her, kneels down, gives her the rose, and says, “will you stay here and run the cafe with me?”

At this Hee Joo smiles back and replies, “I am not sure. I need to check with my Practically Oppa and get back to you.” She takes the flower and pulls him to her, wraps her arms over his neck, and kisses him. She says, “this is the most unromantic proposal ever.” He hugs her and pulls out a massive diamond ring and puts it on her finger. They kiss passionately… THE END!
